Farhan , I have read your post and do not agree that the using of CCTV invades privacy . If you have done nothing wrong whether in the public or in private , you would not be afraid that someone is watching you through the CCTV. The CCTV is meant to capture the images of people doing crimes . If you are doing something more private and you do not want others to see but it is not a crime like , kissing , hugging you would not have visited places where you think there might be CCTVs installed . You would probably have done those in places where there is unlikely to have CCTVs watching you like a park or at the beach .
I also do not agree that people with social disorder is caused by the CCTV . People with such problems would have probably avoided places likely to have CCTVs watching their every move example : a shopping mall or crowded places .
I totally agree that the CCTV provides security and it aids the police in crime investigations . The CCTVs installed at the crime scene might have filmed down the looks of the suspect . I this way , the police would have a much easier job in finding who the suspect is among the growing population of humans and leading to the apprehension of the suspect . It can also act as a soild evidence to show the court that the suspect had been to the crime scene or committing the crime .
